Fair Housing

Team Zingales Realty, LLC encourages and supports Fair Housing in our advertising and marketing program. The Fair Housing Act covers most housing. In limited instances, the Act exempts owner-occupied buildings with no more than four units, single-family houses sold or rented by the owner without the use of an agent, and housing operated by religious organizations and private clubs that limit occupancy to members. There are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.

All residential real estate information on this website is subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968. As amended, it is illegal to advertise ” any preference, limitation, or discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin, or intention to make any such preference, limitation or discrimination.” It is illegal to deny housing under the following conditions:

• advertising the sale or rental of housing
• appraisal or financing
• providing real estate brokerage services

These tenants also extend to Mortgage Lending. “It is illegal to take any of the following actions based on race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, familial status, or national origin. It is unlawful for a company to refuse to make a mortgage loan or provide other financial assistance for a dwelling; refuse to provide information regarding loans or impose different terms or conditions on loans, such as different interest rates, points, or fees.
